Founded in 1997, we’ve been serving the Mitchell, South Dakota area for 25 proud years. We’ve grown a lot since then, but our mission has remained the same.

We provide independent living
The happiness of our residents is the success of our community. We’re more than only staff, we’re a caring family dedicated to serving our senior citizens. After all, you want to rest easy knowing you or your loved ones are in good hands.
Countryside Living features many attractive amenities. There are 3 high-quality meals served daily, and dinner is always something different! There are many recreational activities available like bingo, cards/games, and crafts. Every weekend is a movie night, with the hottest Netflix options available. Our facility is super clean and completely non-smoking. There’s an emergency call system so you’re never too far from help. We have attached garages with valet service if you have an automobile. Local transportation is also included in the rent if you are without a car. There are many floor plans for independent living, depending on your preference.
